1986年同济医学院本科毕业；1989年获同济医学院病理学硕士学位；1995年获同济医学院病理学博士学位。硕士毕业后留校任教，博士毕业后赴日本留学访问，赴奥地利维也纳大学进行博士后研究，主要从事血管生物学及病理学研究。1998年回校工作至今。一直从事病理学教学、临床病理诊断及科研工作。参与《病理学》本科教材及《临床病理诊断》《外科病理学》等临床病理参考书的编写工作。曾主持参与留学回国人员启动基金、国家自然科学基金、湖北省自然科学基金等项目，发表学术论文八十余篇，作为第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文二十七篇。从事临床病理诊断及疑难病例病理会诊工作近二十余年，在肿瘤病理诊断方面积累了丰富的经验，并专长于乳腺及女性生殖系统疾病的病理诊断。主要研究方向：动脉粥样硬化发病机制；乳腺疾病病理学。
