教授，博士生导师，华中科技大学同济医院病理研究所副所长。1986年同济医学院本科毕业；1989年获同济医学院病理学硕士学位；1995年获同济医学院病理学博士学位。之后赴日本留学访问、赴奥地利维也纳大学进行博士后研究，主要从事血管生物学及病理学研究。1998年回校工作至今。承担医学科研、教学及临床病理诊断工作。从事临床病理诊断及疑难病例病理会诊工作二十余年，在肿瘤病理诊断方面积累了丰富的经验，并专长于乳腺及女性生殖系统疾病的病理诊断。主要研究方向：动脉粥样硬化发病机制及防治；乳腺疾病病理学。
